sprechen sie deutsch?
« on: October 07, 2009, 04:54:00 PM »
so the alpha-N 2000 that came with my dbilas setup only came with german instructions. google translate got me most of the way there, but i am wondering if any of our european members could provide an assist with the actual wiring of the thing:

Drosselklappenpotentiometersignal = TPS
Drehzahlsignal = "Speed signal" (tach/RPM?)
+5V is obvious
Klemme 15 = "Clamp 15" (?)
Masse = "mixture" (O2 sensor?)
Luftmengenmessersignal = AFM

the wiring harnesses between US and EU M42s could be different so i want to make sure i have actually found the correct leads rather than just going by the numbers. any help is much appreciated-

Hey there,of course I do,because I´m from Munich,Germany

Well,these  words are hard to translate,even for my online dictionary which knows a lot of engeneering words.

Drosselklappenpotentiometersignal : Means the Throttle Body potentiometer signal (perhaps the short form is TPS,I don´t know)
Drehzahlsignal : Means RPM signal,you´re right
Klemme 15: yes,clamp or clip
Masse: I´m not quite sure,but this is an electronical think,an "Masse" means normally GND (connecting cable to ground or something like that).I´m pretty sure that this has nothing to do with 02 !
Luftmengenmesser: Yes,it´s airflow meter
Versorgungsspannung: supply voltage

I hope I could help you (or prove what you found out),if you got more questions,feel free to ask.

But to get sure that I reach your message,write an E-Mail at Overkill1990@gmx.de because I´m not here so often.

best regards,Moritz
