hello all,

i have a 1993 e36 318i bmw and am looking at a possible upgrade. i'm looking at a potential 1992 525i donor if things are still ok. i was wondering what would be needed to do this swap.

525i??? if it's the E34 525i M50B25.. Then u have to source for the oil pan... the E34 M50 oil pan won't clear the E36 cross member. Wiring would need some work too which mean extra hours and $$$... Much easier if you can get an E36 325i instead and transfer everything over plug-and-play.
