Hey I want to supercharge my 93 318is dasc dosnt make sc for m42 no more does it because I tried looking for it in the internet but nothing have any of u guys used the sc from koperformance.com or if I could get the one from dasc would be better I need held I want to get for power from my 4 cyl

Don't even bother with the KO kit.

Call Downing, I'm sure they will be helpful and they probably do have some 93 kits left.

It is definitely worth it, but don't expect your car to be the fastest thing in town.

Actually, if you contact Downing Atlanta, you will discover that they are making the supercharger kit for your car.  They started up again a couple of months ago after one of their suppliers returned to the fold.

Hey guys wat about a turbo kit with stock internals low boost how does it sound way cheaper too or not worth it

It works, but is not bolt on....You will have to do alot of custom fab work yourself. If you don't know how to do that stuff then going D/A is probably the best route.

i know the DASC kits keep with the same CR when connecting it up to the M42, but does that mean that the boost is at a constant? does anyone know if u can change it? i think they are set to about 8psi

You change SC boost by changing the size of the pulley.

don't suppose anyone has ever done 15psi? would that be too much for the M42 to handle? this is just forward planning for now...goin to do a rebuild first...then the DASC... i think i would need the CR to be close to 8.0:1 for 15psi to work...

Hey but I seen a trubo kit in ebay and a manifold if u look u will find it plus is like 1300 for every thing much cheaper I am going to build it my self but that's if I get it I still don't know wich way to go 3000 bucks is 3000 bucks
