I replaced the hose, and it still collapses, I need a tough silicone hose or soemthing more sturdy that wont collapse under vacuum. Any Idea where to find one, and correct sizing?

I tried putting in a spring/ a brace on the inside, but it really doesnt work.

any help?

Go to the help section of any FLAPS, get a container or vacuum line butt connectors in whatever size the ICV hose is.  Then cut the hose you have in half where it is collapsing... you will never have problems again.  Worked like a charm for me for the last 1.5 years.

good plan, I think I may even get a T connector and throw in a vacuum gauge.

I used some hose from a marine store meant for plumbing fresh water on boats, and it is very stiff stuff.
