Its been two months, been busy. Took the timing chain off and adjusted my timing once more. I had run out of room within the sprockets. Anyway car starts and runs great. I don't know if there is any damage internally, but nothing about the way the car runs is telling me to worry. I rotated the engine by hand and never felt any binding or heard anything unusual. Time will tell either way.
The problem as far as I can tell was when I put the chain on I tightened the sprockets down and did not move the slack in the chain over to the tensioner side of the engine. So there was some slack which ruined my timing just enough.
