Gas tank connector on the e30 iS

Does anyone know what size the threads are on the gas tank connections? I had to butcher mine to get it off.

You know what's funny? If I had asked about turboing my car or megasquirt I would have probably gotten all kinds of responses. But I ask a simple question about what thread pitch is used on one connector and nobody knows. :p :p :p That's right, I went there.

I got a replacement but now it's a race. I'll find out and post it. No-one should have to pay 35 dollars for 4 dollars worth of copper tubing and brass compression fittings.
