I don't drive rallies myself, but here in Finland some people do drive rally a little bit. In lower entry level classes BMW is quite popular. Here's few pictures i took several years ago from a local rally. The same event will be held next Saturday, have to go and enjoy

OK, here's pictures i took from a local Rally start point today. No pictures from the special stages, because my camera is not that good to capture moving objects. 111 participinants this time on 12 different classes from WRC to Historic cars. I do not put many new car pictures, somehow i found out 30-40 Mitsu EVO 9 & 10 models just boring, not to mention new body Subaru Imprezas. The most interesting cars in my opinion were those historic and "entry level" rally cars. You can consider a E30 M3 as a entry level.
At the local library, the rally center (office) was located in next building.
So called 0-car, which drive beforehand the route and checks out everythings is OK.Most likely i managed to get myself to TV
EVO 10,
Peugeot 207 Sport2000 sounded real nice
New Impreza. Four time WRC champion Tommi Makinen has a company which builds these cars

More interesting cars
Don't know how popular rallying is in the States, but here in Finland it's #1 motorsports and during the years the finnish drivers have been managed more or less OK also in the international scene.
