I like salvage yards myself. Here's a parts diagram:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BA73&mospid=47325&btnr=12_0556&hg=12&fg=22

Part 12311721776 (Pulley) was found on the following vehicles:

E30 318i Sedan, M42, MANUAL (AJ93) : Alternator, individual parts 80A
E30 318i Convertible, M42, MANUAL (BA73) : Alternator, individual parts 80A
E30 318is Coupe, M42, MANUAL (AF93) : Alternator, individual parts 80A
E30 318i Sedan, M42, MANUAL (AJ93) : ALTERNATOR PARTS 90A
E30 318i Convertible, M42, MANUAL (BA73) : ALTERNATOR PARTS 90A
E30 318is Coupe, M42, MANUAL (AF93) : ALTERNATOR PARTS 90A

Pelicanparts.com sells it new for $58.25.
