Alright, thanks for the info.
I want to keep the engine safe for now, I'm going for 6psi, but I'm not against raising the boost slightly when it is properly tuned. Keeping in mind that I'm running stock ECU for now.
E30 forever!

^That will still be fun.  You're limited by your flappy door anyway.  The afm can only handle 6-7psi if I remember correctly.  Maybe Danny will chime in as I think he ran into that problem.

AFM is good for more than 7 psi, it doesn't sense boost anyway.

The stock ECU can only retard to about 8 psi in my experience, and you don't want to counter detonation with JUST fuel, you'll wash your cylinder walls.
