Really easy if you have access to a lift and only slightly annoying if you have to do it on your back.

Make sure you mark the position of the Center support bearing and reinstall it in the exact same place!  Everything else is cake.

PS.  I like the paint scheme of you car!  Very original.

make sure you get new guibo nuts + bolts, red threadlocker, and all kidding aside, make sure the center support and guibo are OEM or better (eg, febi).

what the hell is the point of a guibo anyway? couldnt i just bolt the two three pronged flanges together? or does it need that additional flex because of the clutch disc not having springs?

Yes, don't mess around...  Get a Febi Guibo!!!!

I've posted a pic of my old destructed guibo (non oem) and new Febi one below for your amusement.

I bought new bolts and nuts from the dealer for the guibo, and new nuts for where the rear flange bolts to the diff.  I actually don't think you'd need new bolts, but the nuts are stretch and will hold it all together tightly.

This is your BMW on non-oem guibo...

This is your BMW on Febi Guibo...

Any questions???  ;)
