i've said this before but i'll reiterate...

neighbor backed into my car last month and destroyed the DS headlight assembly so while i'm waiting on new parts i've been rolling without one.

i am still using chipped motronic with the ITBs and there is a noticeable difference with the "ghetto CAI" setup- still stock airbox & AFM, but with a nice big feed of ambient air.

i am going to figure out a solution to keep this power once i get the car fixed- it's not going to be a headlight delete, that's just not how i want to do it, but i will figure out a way to run a source to the airbox inlet.

Stock fake grill.............................................Now real grill


+ 20 bhp!

It's the lazy man's alternative to rerouting.
i've seen a few really complex ones on here but can't find pics now.
think it's enough for you deekay? :p or are you going this route:

Very important: if you want cold air first thing to do is delete the heater plates. I saw silly people with CAI and heater plates still on. :)

i did this a couple years ago.  its bad enough having to rely on getting what little air gets through behind the headlight, but then they go and fill up the rest of the grill with that extra plastic.  it was quite easy, and i think it was pretty effective
