+10 hp sounds a bit high from just deleting the a/c.  Sure you remove a belt driven accessory and about 40 pounds of weight, but do the non-ac M42 E30s come with 10 extra HP from the factory?

when u think about it, ur not actually gaining any power at all. your only utilising power, that your engine already has, better. but you feel a lil bit more with the weight decrease. all in all i think it would be worth it...but not for me. gets to hot in my part of the world to not have A/C

LOL there are no horsepower gains.

it only kills your horsepower when you turn it on.

and everything weighed up to be like 28 pounds, so it really isn't that big on weight savings either.

my a/c works very well, and im going to keep it that way ;)

AC just puts stress on the Engine when you turn it on your car REV's up higher cause it needs more power to use it im guessing, soo deleting it takes weight out not much but good enough for me seeing how AC caused me to overheat my car and blow my head gasket.... First time i used it, last time i ever will
