no mods required.. Just slide the propshaft a little to the front... Been there, done that.. few times...

bah, having trouble finding info on this. So the actual mounting of this diff is the same as the small case? and how can you adjust the prop shaft to fit? I don't want to go to great modifications to fit a diff, although I would prefer the strength of a med case.

It just pops in. I'm guessing you would need medium case flanges, but they should come with the diff.
