The rims are AEZ from Germany i got from a guy locally bascially traded him a pvr hd tv box for them and then bought tires, they came off an e34 m5 from Japan. They are 17 x 8.5 with Flaken Ziex 215/40/17 offset of 13 which is pretty wide and i need to roll the arches in the back about an inch and a half or so for clearance.:p

thanks guys i hope to have the car painted at some point as well i am ordering the DA supercharger kit this fall for somemore project work over the winter. I also will be doing a diff swap and possible brake upgrade to m3 brakes but am still undecided. what do you guys think of the color i have current but in satin finish?

Nice look!!!!! It brings out the birth place of Bavarian Motor Works--GERMANY. I used to laugh at guy's that used to say they have a Euro--"wow really, what do you have? they seem to always come up with some type of toyota, nissan etc...I would always reply with " I didn't know that japan was apart of Europe" Those rims are the very essence of Germany-----don't ever seperate with those rims, as long as you own your BMW.

i have looked for so long for rims that where period correct and of course german made and i lucked out really. i am glad you appreciate them i plan on keeping this car until it ceases to run haha but really i put so much work in to her that i could never part and i just want to point out that i appreciate the positive comments guys i know it not a show stopping car but what project is until it finished. i also posted pics on bfc but no real response, some people are to douchy on that forum long live the m42:)
