m42 engine and m20 flywheel swap
« on: July 06, 2009, 10:06:05 AM »
hi
i have an m42 and thinking about doing a m20 flywheel swap.
i have read that i should use a 325 e30 flywheel.
but i have a e34 525i m20 flywheel. and from the partnumbers in realoem they dont have the same number.????
could i use the 525 flywheel as good as using a 325 flywheel?
E30 325i
E36 318iS
E34 525i

yes, it's the same flywheel if they're both single mass, try to measure the weight!
