Transmission - Stripped Bolt Head
«

While trying to remove my transmission, one of the starshaped head bolts was stripped near the top of the transmission. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it? thanks in advance.

Is the engine and tranny out of the car or is it still in the car?

vice grips!!!
or get the next size smaller torx socket and get it on the stripped bolt by hammering the piss out of it with a sledge hammer. This works for me.
