Name: Woody aka Thrlls
Cars: 318is Diamantschwarz Metallic, 01 M Roadster Black Saphire Metallic
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii...island O'ahu
Age: Old enough to have 2 daughters 31 & 27, 6 Grandkids, 2 step daughters 16 & 21, 1 step son 17, 4 dogs, and 1 cat!
Job: I work for Servco, Toyota Hawaii Distribution

My 318 is my DD and my autox/track car. I love the way it handles and I have kept up with some 325is and M3s around the turns. Of course on the straights they walk away from me, but not run! The car has no A/C, however I'm having it fixed on Monday. It's been 3 yrs without A/C and it's getting hotter every summer. I purchased the car 3 yrs ago for $1,750. The body is straight, no rust, but the paint is very bad. The clear coat is peeling badly, hence there are no pics of my car.

Mods:
Bilstein/H&R
B&M Short Shifter.....great ssk!
Spraco strut brace
JC chip
BMP light weight flywheel...a must do!
Power Slot rotors front/back
Urethane bushings - subframe, rear trailing arm
M3 front control arm bushings

Welcome woody!!

Diamantschwarz really needs the clear coat to look good... a guy one r3v, clay, who also has a D/S 318iS, just got his painted and it looks great. In fact, you guys would seem to have a ton in common.

Good luck on the A/C thing... are you having the system converted to whatever new, cheaper refrigierant they have now (I don't know the name of it)?

his car is here:
