Best Offset for the E30 that sits flush
« on: June 15, 2009, 05:38:04 AM »
Hey guys, just wondering whats the best offset for the E30, so the car looks rather aggressive?

I saw some nice wheels

16x7.5 +38

But im not sure if they sit 'flush'

Not bad... too polished for me, but that's just personal tastes.  Well, a nice offset for a 16x7.5 is around +20.  That's the offset of the Keskin KT1 Klassiks that I want.

A +38 won't even fit without spacers.  You'd need like 16mm spacers to clear the front struts I think.  I'm no wheel/tire expert though, so hopefully someone will chime in and add to the discussion.

+38mm is far too much offset for an E30, unless it's an IX.

16x7.5 +20 would be perfect with some 225/45/16 or maybe some 215/45/16.

I ran 17x8 +20 in the rear before and it was just perfect/flush with the fender. The front wasn't as nice. I had to use a smaller tire(205/40/17) make it work.

i had et0 on my 89 325i in 15x8 inch rims.  i think it looked fine but lots of people didn't like the look with 225/50s on the wheels.  they liked the 205/50 better but i like as much rubber on the road as possible
