Hi everybody,
My name is Bjorn Wolfs.
I live in Hasselt, Belgium. My dayly driver is a BMW E30 318IS.
Check my avatar... That's my car.
Plans for the car are a turbo conversion... Painting it Porche White,
white wall tyres on some 15" BBS rims and the stock interior
made black and white leather. The glovebox, armrest, center of the
M3 steering wheel the A en B pilarmounts are allready done in white.
Normaly i would be further done with all my work but yesterday i
found some rust and it seems the car needs a lot of sheet metal work.
Holes in the floor and the mounting brackets for the gastank are
rotten too. The rear wheelarches both inner and outer are rotten
too so i'm going to have a lot of work.
I'll keep you guys posted...

Welcome to the board! You sound ambitious. You'll have to buy a parts car to be able to keep up with fixing these cars, but they're more fun than anything I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck!

Finding a parts car is not real simple here in belgium M42 are becoming
really rare and expensive..

I opened up an account at photobucket and posted the HTML links in my posts. Parts e30s are common here, I paid $200 for a rust bucket 325is and I'm swapping the parts now. The black leather sport interior is a near-perfect fit, but it's not the best match for the tan door panels.

I just keep on finding more and more rust... even the roof

i know a guy who has an E34 for sale but no engine in it... so
i was thinking about buying that car and mounting my M42 in it..
So what do you guys think ?

I don't really think an E34 + M42 are a good combination...one of the reasons the M42 is so "quick" is also because of the weight of the car. If you put the M42 into an E34 you'd get like a 318i (M40).
