Any original RHD E30 318is here???
« on: June 02, 2009, 09:37:03 AM »
Looking for anyone having an original E30 318is or photos of exhaust manifold from an original RHD E30 318is...

I got this photo of the exhaust manifold for a LHD E30 318is from Brendan Purcell website. These definitely can't fit into a RHD E30 318is as the steering coupling would be in the way..

So anyone has photo of the exhaust extractor from a RHD E30 318is???

thanks.. that was quick...

Big difference compared to the more free flowing design for the LHD extractor..

Here's some of the photos taken of my current RHD extractor which is a modified E36 318is extractor.

A local exhaust specialist said he can custom make a 4-1 extractor for me so I'm still thinking whether to let him have a go at him.. hmmmm...

Here are some other photos of the exhaust system.

Stock muffler but opened up to reroute the pipes..

The RHD extractors are shite compared the the LHD ones. You will probably get a nice pickup in power with some quality extractors.

Anyone know where to find a new RHD exhaust manifold or RHD headers for an E36 M42.

I have found a company called HiTech Headers that have a replacement manifold but for the E36 M44. Are M42 & M44 manifolds interchangeable?

Thanks
