It comes off of these models.
88-90 760
90-92 740
91-95 940
92-94 960

The lip is actually mounted "upside down" from the way it mounts on the Volvo. There is a couple write-ups about it...Here is one:

Those skirts are Mercury Sable side skirts... I'm rocking a pair myself...
