Check your battery.

Mine did this to me a couple of months ago.

I ended up getting new brushes in the alternator, charged the battery and never looked back.

Might be that, or the infamous M42 vacuum leaks, or the infamous Bosch ICV. Is your idle wandering at all, or is it pretty much rock-steady?

Battery is brand new and I believe when this happened the radio was still on.
It idle fine no problem at all.
