AFM voltage help for MAP conversion
« on: May 14, 2009, 12:26:04 PM »
Hello everybody,
I'm about to purchase Map-Ecu piggyback (http://www.mapecu.com) from New Zealand to do the AFM to MAP conversion. I talked to the company and they asked some specific info. Since I live in Australia at the moment and my car is Istanbul/Turkey, I don't have a chance to provide this information myself...
They want me to check the voltage on the air flow (AFM) input with the ignition on and engine not running and also at idle so they can setup a table correctly.
Can any of you please provide me this information, so I can order?
Thank you very much in advance :)

Well, it tends to vary from car to car since they all wear differently, and I think the calibration screw is adjusted on an individual basis. You would be best off having someone with a basic multimeter go check it for you so you don't have to re-tune it later.
