E36 M40 Turbo oil-drain placement ??

Thanks for the answers, I was talking about the Air flow meter (not the AFR :) ) the AFM that is usually on the driver side and that installed between your cone filter and the turbo.
I wonder if there is any gain in doing that?

I'm impressed that you manage to boost over 1 bar on stock internals, that pretty crazy ;)

ops. sorry.. the reason for placing it infront of turbo is that i´ve heard that the AFM can´nt handle the turbo pressure and supposely easier to adjust right.

that's a good idea, and it works without any problems? because if it does, I'll install mine that way. I guess you didn't have to modify anything, besides putting longer wires for the AFM plug, right?

works perfect, longer wires for the afm and tightning the "spring?" inside the afm, (about 25 clicks) used the afr ;) to see when i hitted a nice blend.

The AFM can handle boost pressure, it just doesn't read it as boost, just as hotter air.

So Fazer has the AFM in the spot it really should be in.

For turbo, the way fazer has it.

The AFM can't read anything above atmospheric pressure.
