I hate all Mustangs.
And their Drivers.
And yes I am basing my hatred on one event with one mustang from the early 90's.
the story:
I drive 150 miles everyday going to a camp I volunteer at full-time after my 7-4 job. the first 40 minutes consists of interstate/truck route at about 90 mph. Then I hope on US 42 a windy country road for about half an hour. in the entire run there are only two straights in which one could legally pass. After about five minutes on US 42 I come up behind a white POS mustang. Now I am not one to get mad at others for using my road (ya, it's MINE) or going slower in the corners than me, I dont expect them to be able too, thats why I bought this car. However This thing was moving at about tractor speed, I am pretty sure I could have gotten out and walked around it. I was not tailgating him and I gave him no reason to be upset with me, and I just patiently waited for one of the straight sections. We got there and I go to pass him and as I go around Him he just guns it. WTF? Yes I understand that he is faster than me in a straight line but I really dont care. So then I am behind him againfor the majority of the trip making me miss dinner and it made for just about the most infuriating trip ever, and this is supposed to be the relaxing part of my day. He was braking all the way through corners and it had so much body roll. what a dick
So in summary there is only one solution to this problem, better handling. How much would a good suspension setup set me back? I was thinking maybe H&R sports and bilstins(sp) and the associated jaunts. However I am open to sugestions, But I live in a city with pretty bad roads.
thanks
