Right i have changed the head gasket due to water and oil mixing anyway that problem is sorted but now it just will not run right? on the rev counter it ticks over all good but the engine is all over the place and the car rocks from side to side but only on tick over, when u rev it up its sounds lovley except a wering noise sounding kinda like a supercharger! anyone know of this problem?

Does the engine continously stumble?  Even after start-up?

yeh big time. and i dont know if this helps but when we completed the head gasket it did chuck out alot of white smoke then it stoped after afew days of running it and ever since it stoped it realy splutters water out of the exhaust. but i dont get this because i have changed the water pump, thermostat + housing gasket and the timing covers profile gasket.

Are you sure all your sensors are hooked up correctly?  Also check to make sure your ignition wires are hooked up to the correct cylider.
