Anyone try using these?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching&item=250396558821&viewitem=
At first, i thought about getting the ellisope (spl?)...
but then, i have a set of H4 HID sitting at home...
so, i kinda want to use them on the 318 (originally came with seal beams)

I just bought
these
and am most pleased. They work very well and installation was easy enough for a Luddite like me.

I definitely like H4s more than elips when you factor in the price, but I'm not a fan of the crystal look. I have Hellas. I'm a bit wary of hids in the H4 housings, because the cutoff isn't as sharp, though.

Yeah...
Initially, i though about getting the hellas but they are quite a lot more expensive that the ebay one....
(i know i know... i get what i paid for)
But the ebay ones are just very tempting.. haha

Ebay Hellas as installed by me. Nothing amazing to look at, but they throw quite a bit more light than the sealed beams they replaced. Sorry the car's so dirty; it's a DD and hasn't been washed in a month.

BTW I think the H4s are still significantly better than US elips.
