Where is fuel filter?

Car is e36 318is and my question is where is the fuel filter? Is it under car on rear of the car or near the engine? I try to find it but dont see it. Damn low car i cant fit under it :D

it is mounted under the car on the front left, right next to the control arm

My 328's is under the driver seat (under the car of course).  It's under a cover.  I understand some E36's have it in the engine compartment.  I think those are early sixes though.

the location in the 4cyl e36's is different than the 6cyl cars

on the e30's there in the same place but the filter itself is different

E30 is on the left hand side right in front of the rear wheel/subframe. I dunno if the e36 is the same or not.

Yeah, should be just under the fusebox in the engine bay, assuming the E36 fusebox is in the same place :D Nearside of car, rear of engine bay, mounted to the side of the engine bay.
Mildly stripped and dropped 4 door with an M42 fitted!
