Mark D 93 M42 Octane Chip
« on: July 05, 2006, 02:54:15 PM »
Hello all. I hope this forum has great success!

I had three M42 guys e-mail me requesting about a true 93 octane chip for their cars. I just wanted to let you guys know that we are able to get a true (not a tuned 91 octane that *could* run 93) 93 octane chip.

If you are interested in a custom M42 chip, please let us know.

Thanks for looking!

Tempting, but since I might get relocated to California someday, I'll stick with my 91 octane Jim C. chip for now.

Please tell us more, such as the differences between the new chip and the old one.

Also, is it a strict 93 octane chip or can it run ok on 92?

Thanks :)

Some parts of the country, 93 octane is hard to come by.  In Washington State, we with turbo cars used to make special trips to the Cenex which was the only station that sold 94 octane pump gas in the city.

You have to give it time... I understand that a lot of members are not always on the same page or want to spend at the same time....

In any case, if you guys need a chip, please e-mail us!

Our price on the chip is $219.

I am interested in the chip as well but I would like to know some more details. What gains can we expect to see with this chip, any dyno sheets to show?

MS is not as cheap as a chip.  Not many people would be able to competently tune it either.

For a stockish motor a chip is the best way to go.
