Just finished a complete rebuild on the m42. Tried the mustang injectors, leaked at the rail so I put the stock ones back in. Cranked motor over without plugs until oil press was good. Engine fires up good but lifters are not pumping up. Anyone have a ideas?

Last M42 I had rebuilt a single lifter talked back to me for about a good 10 minutes. I was rather concerned but it did go away and never gave me a problem after that.

Just let it sit at a fast idle for a good 10-15 minutes. It takes a little while sometimes.

Thanks peerless. I haven't ran it very long. Maybe that's the fix..
