Help i need some advice on the best priced bearings and bottom/top gasket kits for the M42 im rebuilding local people (in NZ)a re all asking for about 1200NZD surely someone out there must know of a chearper source even if i have to order from usa or germany or anywhere??

I purchase a lot of parts from bmaparts.com in the States. Much cheaper than than through BMW dealers in Australia. Patrick at BMA has a world renown reputation for reliability and good service.

already saving close to 40% of the price here in new zealand thanks guys! anyone know of whats included in a bottom end gaskets replacement kit?

Are you saying that the prices there in NZ are cheaper than BMA? or BMA are cheaper than NZ?

if you email patrick@bmaparts.com he will get back with prices which are nearly always cheaper than his website.

As for what gaskets I can't help you out.
