Ok so i have a e36 94 318is and i took off the upper and lower intake manifold. I had to disconect the two knock sensors. and when i did i forgot what one goes into which port! dumb i know.. but what i need to know is if it matters what one i put it in or what one i need to put which one it. If the one closest to the front of the car goes into the lower port or the one above it! The reason im frustrated is because i dont want to put every thing back then have to take it all off again! If some one has any imput let me know! :confused:

what are you talking about lower port or one above it? There should be 2 ports for the KS's btween cylinders 1 and 2 and btween 3 and 4. Are you looking at your injector holes? I thnk the KS's go below the injectors on the block. Are you looking at ports on the head? I really dont know what you are talking about, there should be 2 unused spots for them.

im talking about the ports for the wire harness the sensors are in i just disconected the wires and forgot what socket went to wich one
