For those of you who have completed or did the COP conversion on your M42 - I just have some quick questions:
1) is there ANY possibility of water getting down into the spark wells if washing or powerwashing under the hood? Many of us detail our engine bays and w/ the stock BMW cover plate, this was not really an issue - however, if that plate is no longer protecting the open spark wells, with a COP kit, can or does water get down into the well at all?
2) I see folks using different coils from different BMW's - is one type (model or coil) preferred over another and if so, what is that part #?
3) for those that have removed the original coil set up from the inner fender, how did you remove the factory bracket - did you cut it off w/ a Dremel or cutting wheel, or remove some other way?
