so when i'm driving it wont rev past 4.5K it will just cut out past that. other electrical units also sketch out i.e. radar detector, radio, and abs. i need help quick as to where to start looking. thanks

alternator... check the belt, check the voltage at the battery while the car is running.

yeah shes all fixed up, it took me 5 min or so to find the problem. the electrical connector sheared off due to vibrations. its all fixed up and running well now

it was the main connection to the alt. the connector sheared off, and the one to the power block in the engine bay.
