fog light lense

are the fog light lense's available only, for 91 318 or do I need to buy the whole units, mine both have holes

Separate lens don't exist, you have to change to whole fog light.

Right - there are replacement acrylic lenses available, but not glass.

A few companies also make lense protectors (like the clear film you put over a cell phone screen to protect it) that goes over the glass lenses to prevent cracking and breaking.
At the same time, the plastic 3rd party unit's are just as good I am told and are not made of glass.

FWIW, I do have the bmwlights.com plastic lenses and I like them. I also added the clear film over them to reduce pitting.

you can buy the lenses on Ebay too, that way you can file with paypal easily if he doesn't deliver.
