Fog light question
« on: December 13, 2008, 05:08:15 PM »
I just bought fog lights (on ebay) and they should be direct replacements.  Well, the fog lights fit just fine, look great....only one problem.  The passenger side plug does not plug into the fog light itself.  Why?  Because apparently, the plug connectors for the passenger and driver side orient the same way, but the female recepticles on the fog lights orient the opposite way.  So, the driver side is fine, but not the passenger side.  Guess I should let the vendor know.  I'm thinking about just grinding down the connector to fit rather than hassle with returning it, etc.  What do y'all think?

Was it one of those $48 buy it now sets? If so, I would consider returning them. from what I have heard, they aren't worth the trouble to install on your car. Apperently they don't hold up very long.

I am holding out for a good price on OEM...
