high + lowbeam ellipsoids
« on: June 20, 2006, 03:32:46 PM »
i recently converted my sealed beams to ellipsoids, however , to get the lows to work with the highs , i had to wire an interesting circuit with a relay....... ghetto, but it works.. however
i remember seeing an article where someone posted something about how you could jump a plug on the low beam and high beam relay together , and it would allow all 4 lights to be on at once

does anyone know where this article is? or know which posts on the relays to jump???

and last but not least..... which exactly are the low and high beam relays?:D

thanks for the offer but I am going to make brake ducts for those holes.  the FMIC pipes would be in the way of the fogs more than likely.  We'll see when it gets all hooked up soon.  I would like fogs though, but I think brake ducts would be best.

i was considering fabbing up a sheetmetal intake on the ducts below the fog holes, and connecting it to some metal ducting for brake cooling purposes.

its all a matter of getting the materials together , and doing it.....
i already have a hood im fabbing up with heat extraction vents  on either side...... we shall see how it turns out , when i get done , ill be sure and post some pics........

aight, go to www.tinypic.com and host them for free w/ that.  then take the [img] code and put that in your post.  Also if you wanna show a pic thats already hosted like on someone else's website you can right click on the pic and select properties.  Copy the url and throw some [img] tags around the url when you post it.

now i know it looks like crap right now , but the vents are from a 84-92 trans am hood, flipped around to vent air out , , i bolted them in , fiberglassed them to the hood , and am using bondo over that.

itll be ghetto as all hell , but i think once its painted itll look cool , if not , oh well ,  ill stick it on the 325 e that im gonna turn into a track car

and my lil buddy

haha funny thing is thats almost just what I was thinking about.  I have been looking for nice vents, and those are going to look great.  I wish I had a spare hood to cut up.  I can't wait to see the finished product.
