Author Topic: Potential oil leak sources? (Read 2115 times)

I have an oil leak coming from the driver's side of the engine. I replace the upper pan gasket last night and it still persists. It looks like it's coming from somewhere around the oil filter housing, but I don't think it's leaking from it. Are there any other potential sites of leakage on the driver's side of the block?

I've had all that stuff off that side of the motor, and I'm not aware of anything other than the oil filter housing gaskets and o-rings, the valve cover gasket, the chain case gaskets and the upper pan gasket that are anywhere near there.

Higher than that. I'm going to take the oil filter housing off and take a look.
