Help, Pissing Oil...

Hey guys...

Here comes another Birdman16 problem.  As some of you know, I got in a car accident on thursday.  I lost the car on a bunch of wet leaves and the front end hit the wall.  I thought it was only cosmetic damage, but I seem to be wrong.

I just went outside to start the car to keep the battery going and I noticed a pool of oil under the oil pan.  It seems to be leaking just behind it.  I think it just may be a seal and that it got moved when I hit the wall.

Now a bigger problem arises.  When I looked down the driveway after getting out of the car, I noticed there was oil sprayed down the whole side of the driveway from the exhaust, which is still smoking....  I noticed something was wrong when white smoke poured out of the exhaust...  I don't know how this happened, because it was not that hard of a hit. 20-25 mph...  I just had the head replaced and think that something shifted or cracked.

Please give me some insight to this problem.

And yes I got a new front end on eBay ($500.00) and I have to pay for the wall. (150.00).

Anyway sorry to hear about your accident, i did something similar when i first started driving but it involved front wheel into the curb when parallel parking a lil too fast through some leafs.

Oil leaks suck, When you say white smoked poured out of the exhaust are you saying oil is going down and out your muffler? thats worst case possible right there. If its leaking out the front of the motor down around the back onto the cat it will catch fire and cause alot of smoke from under the car.

Thanks for the quick response.  The car is leaking into the exhaust at some point, but I can not tell from where yet.  I'll have to get it up on a jack and see where it could be leaking from.  It was pissing, i mean PISSING out of the exhaust and seems to be leaking from the back of the muffler right before the tip.  I don't know if it matters, but that is where it is leaking from.  The oil pan is leaking pretty bad, I tightened it up but it didn't think that would fix it.  I don't know if the leak down the exhaust is internal or leaking through, but I'll have to do some research and see where it could be leaking from.

On the other hand, the car could just be going through its monthly period of oil.  My gf does this so it could be completely normal...

Thanks for the looks and responses.  Help me out!  I don't even care about the cosmetics from the crash, just help the hole in my M42's heart...
