PCV valve help

I removed the black plastic saucer (positive crank vent valve ) from the Intake manifold and pluged the hole in the plate with jb weld ... ever since I did that my car has been having a rough idle on cold starts but run's perfect after 5 mins of idle... Any idea's to why this might be ? I'm FI that's why I removed it
