i might do the 2.7L stroker later on as i gain more experince and what not but for now i'm gonna buy a chip and just live with that for a bit.
the car handles fine why would i need suspension upgrades?
and i read on one of these forums that the turbos on ebay suck, you get what you paid for.

Chip for the win! Don't be too throttle happy and you won't lose much from the fuel economy.
Suspension on the car makes it feel more responsive in turns with less bodyroll and less bounce/lift under braking and acceleration.
Yeah, the Ebay turbo kits are a joke.

Dinan chip was enough. I love the E as an E commuter car. The E30 will never be a very good car, the technology is pushing 25 years and it will get eaten alive by lighter smaller cars with better motors. Swapping motors and getting in to 3 grand to tweak a car that is worth no more than $2000 on a good day is the epitome of pissing money away. When average cars today have almost 100hp more than your car, you are not going to win at that. Fun little track car, but heck a Miata is a much better choice and about the same price. Weigh cost per HP to get to the level of what is standard today.

!!! that guy must be an fn idiot..!
