Well sorry that its not complete yet... but here are some progress shots...

lets start with the newly dyed rear deck that many of you have already seen

here is the rear seat teaser...

The blue material is 2004 bmw fabric.. the black is vinyl.  I picked up a pair of recaro seats that are getting the same 2 tone look...

here is what the recaro seat looks like... naked

we found a little problem with the seat section of the frame...  as you can see the pivot point has been slightly torn..

putting it out of alignment

the upholster is taking the other frame apart to see if there are any issues with it as well...  then they are off to get repaired.

i'll post more as they come.. i hope to have my car back from the bodyshop this saturday... and all the seats in either by mid next week or this saturday as well.

just few things left on the interior to do list...

black 4dr panels ( hard time to find)
summer floor mats ( custom from the same guy who is workin on my seats)
black dye the carpet
m-tech 3 prong steering wheel

no.. the shop that is doing all my body work recomended this guy to me.  From what i have seen in and out of his shop it was a great choice.  It's a little costly but it's to be expected when you want good craftmanship.

He should be done the seats by early next week... and the car... well it might be ready by the end of next week.  I hope

I'm curious as to what the outcome should look like. Can't wait to see the finished product. And by the way, what color is your car?

I'll admit that the 2tone seats with the blue was going to be a hit or miss.

2 reasons why i did it.

1.  didn't want to go all black like most people do.

2.  when i placed the blue sample against the blue paint it was a nice match.

i guess it might me something better to see in person rather than the pictures.  Time will tell when i get the car back and everything installed

so i was checking out craigs list this morning and what did i see but a guy parting out a 325i.  called him up and got me a set of black leather door panels in pretty great shape.  all 4 for $100

here they are

now all that is left for the interior is to dye my carpet black, M tecnic steering wheel, and a new shift knob.

i get my car back monday night.. i'll post the pics shortly after

it cost me $1,200 to recover my seats, and that was a pretty good deal.  Other places were around $1500.. some were around a grand.
