Fergus,

That's a great looking car. It is one of my dream cars to own, that and an e30 333i.
What's the history of the car? did you import it or buy it from someone else?

Where abouts in "the sunshine state" are you? Are you a member of the BMW Club and if so will you be coming to Sydney for the nationals next easter?.

Regards

Cristian

Hello Chrisitan,

I'm living in Brisbane. I moved from Ireland to here a few months back and basically I had been looking out for another E30 for myself when this gem popped up. It was originally a UK car, imported by the last owner when he moved here from the Uk 6 years ago. It's been an absolute credit to him with pretty much every receipt in a huge folder.

I'm only on European Car club - do I have to pay a fee to join the Bmw car club or something?

Haven't heard about these nationals? What exactly are they?

BMW Club is the BMW sanctioned car club, the same as BMWCCA and BMWCC in England.

The local club for you is most likely QLD however there is now a Goldcoast one as well. Their website is here.

The nationals are the BMW Clubs Australia nationally rally. We run them every 2 years in a different state.  It's for both Bikes and Cars made by BMW.  They are usually run at easter.  The club website should have a link to the nationals mini site.

Yes you will have to pay a fee to join the club, the website should have all the details for your local club.
I am organising the the race day for the nationals at Oran Park in Sydney, unfortunately due to work requirements I can't attend every event but will definitely be at the track.

Oh...my....gosh....I WANT IT!  I need Alpina front and rear spoilers now.  ....Hey, wanna sell me them for $10?

EDIT: New unpainted spoilers will cost me nearly as much as my entire car!?

That is the most beautiful bmw I have ever seen. To own one of those here in the states would be a miracle. I have dreamed of that car. over and over. You are a Lucky son of a Bitch. I totally envy you.
