what would you offer for an m47 crank with bearings including shipping? i dont have one, but i would just like to know what range to look for

yeh i would imagine it being nowhere less than the figure you estimated

if sam chimes in at some point he would be able to tell you a pretty close figure.

I have heard that this is a euro deal and the motor was not available in the US. What years, models, and locales was the M47 available in?

M47 is a 4 cylinder diesel featured in the E46 3 series.
