Hey guys and girls, we have another case of 318is gremlins driving the owner nuts. :rolleyes:Heres a breif run down.
The car currently has 138,500 miles on it and I just got it back last week after a head gasket/ head replacement job. I did what the shop owner told me and kept the car below 4500 to 5000 rpms just so I could give the car a break.
I never really beat on the car, but like many others on this forum, like to have some fun once in a while.

The car went in with a rough idle and the shop found a cracked head. It was replaced and the car ran great even right after start up.
Now this gremlin has raised it's ugly head again... Once the car is started, and even after warming up, it bogs off the line. I can have my foot to the floor but there is no response until a few seconds later. Before, antifreeze was getting into the third cylinder, killing the power, there is no reason for this now! I get laughs from all my friends and staff in the school parking lot and it drives me up a wall.

After the car is shut off and still warm, the car still has this problem.
My thoughts:
1) AAARRRGGGHHH!
2) WHY ME?!?!?
3) The clutch seems to be going, could this be the problem of not getting the car to go off the line?
4) I need your help.
Any help would be great, all thoughts welcome.
Thank you,
