Hah i got those same tails on my E30 but i have the red and black. I think they look really good. I'd prefer a set of smoked stock ones but these were free ;)

I think that they look great.. the red and white has a great contrast with the dark blue of the car.

I'm wondering about the chrome outer window trim.  I thought all the late 318s came with all black trim.  Maybe a previous owner wanted some bling?

Are you having it repainted to original color?

i'm not a big fan of bling... but keep in mind that chrone trim on cars was a sign of class and luxury.  The thought crossed my mind to go and paint it black.  But i like the offset of the chrome off the blue... and i think it will offset nice with the silver rims... or if i find a rim with a polish lip.

since we are on the chrome detail subject.. the deck i have in the car has a silver/chrome trim to it... to have some continuity with the interior i was toying with the idea to get the chrome rings for the instrument bezel.

In my opinion, that much chrome trim tends to look cheesy.

well on the exterior really the only "chrome" will be the window trim.. the front grill, the 318i logo and the lip only if i get aftermarket rims... i think thats pretty subtle..

hmm, sounds good. As long as you don't do chrome tubing around the car, like mine had when I purchased it. As long as you don't get Lesabre grills, like mine had when I purchased it. As long as you don't have chrome mirrors and door hadles, like mine has:(, Then you should be fine. I'm trying to get M3 mirrors to get rid of the chrome ones that came with the car. I dericed and deghettod it a bit.....:D Post up pics when you get er
done!

..... I saved my BMW. I'm still trying to derice it........ M3 mirrors are a must. At least it didn't come with a wing, that would've been really sad.

Well its been a awhile at the shop.. but here is what has been done so far...

incase you haven't seen my thead regarding the fabric paint i used on my blue rear deck... here is the finished installed shot.

So here is the story.. both my body guy and the guy who is doing my interior are pretty much on their own in their respected shops and both are pretty busy..  pretty much the time line that i thought i would get my car back has been extended a week and looks like one more week will be needed.

more pics as they come..
