Schrick Cam GB

Hey guys,

i frequent e30tech and r3v(yes teh other forums) a bit and theres a guy who is trying to start up a Schrick Cam GB....there are whispers of m20 cams for $350 :eek: which you guys will know is quite a saving.

In the process a few guys asked about the possibilty of an m42 cam GB.

If we can get enough people interested there could be the same sort of discount available for us.

Is anyone interested?

The only camshaft combo available for the m42 seems to be 256/256...I have no ideas on the step in wildness, if one of the more knowledgeable guys could step in on this subject.

sorry for the slow reply, i dont get email notifications even thou i have them set

the cam avaliable is just your standard Schrick 256 optional cam. Basically the guys over on e30tech are trying to get this grooup buy done and dusted quick smart. I think for us the price would end being somewhere around $500USD/cam.

I myself have decided not to go with this for a few reasons.
1) much longer durations and higher liffts are possible with a regrind
2) regrind are considerably cheaper, one of the mobs in the US will do a regrind about $350 the pair.

if you guys are interested ill grab emails and pass them onto the organisers im like a middle man drumming up some business to help the GB

eh after that info, im losing interest in the GB as well, probably will go the regrind route, do you know anyone who does it specifically at that price? thanks

I managed to remember theuir name, look up delta cams. I believe thats about the price they do. Me ill go local, tighe cams or wade cams should be able to do a similar thing for me

the GB over on the other forum is now just for m20's anyway, not enough interest quick enough for anything else
