I have it mounted with zip ties, half loose, half tightened.

And a spring holding in the sides.

Innovative mounting approach, haha. I'll have to find one the next time I'm at pick in pull. They look pretty damn good to me.

Where'd you grab the springs from?
I was thinking of just putting a strip of thick plastic with a few screws holding it all straight.

I had a case of them laying around I got from harbor freight for a couple bucks, they come in really handy. You could probably get them from home depot or something though.

Oh, the best thing about the mounting method I used I "tested" this morning. With half of them loose, if you hit something hard enough to knock off the tight ones, it remains attached to the car with the loose ones. When backing out this morning, I accidentally went off of the curb instead of the drive, tore all the ties on the left side, but left the loose ones intact. Worked like a charm.

Reminds me of chain hooks on a boat trailer; however, if the lip does break the first line of defense it won't maul you from behind.

Whoah, did I miss something here? When did someone discover this fitted the iS? It looks just right. Can't believe it!

Did a search, can't see any other threads on it.

Which Volvo is it from? Does it need much modification?

It comes off of these models.
88-90 760
90-92 740
91-95 940
92-94 960.
You flip it upside down, cut off a few inches from the ends, drill corresponding holes to match the valence in the lip, and attach with what you want.  Depending on the shape you get it in, you might have to refinish it. I did. I filed it down, filled with small amount of bondo, sanded, painted with some rubber coat paint, and topped it off with some textured paint. Came out great.
