Where can I find a new one of these?
« on: August 28, 2008, 06:56:16 PM »
The black cover for the lights on mine broke, so I took it off. Is it possible to find just the plastic film, do I have to get the whole assembly? Where can I get it, if i can get it?

Piece is circled in red

While it may be rather hard to find in a junkyard it would probably be the cheapest. People are always parting out e30s, your best bet would be to find one with the correct check panel and just buy the whole panel.

When I got my car it had the 325is overhead in the place of our more simple one. The plug didn't fit so it was just up there for looks. I ended up finding a junker and the one i got looks basically brand new, I'm guessing its in better condition because the 325is one has a button and ours is completely black and has no reason to be touched or looked at
