I bought a new muffler for my car but it did not resolve everything. I still have a noise. My mechanic and I think that my exhaust manifold needs to be changed. I called at the dealership and they wanted 810 dollars which is way too much. Where did you buy yours ?

I wouldn't recommend anything but factory, our exhaust manifold is very well designed. Honestly if its cracked id go find one of a parts car. If its not cracked just replace the gaskets.

Its a tubular exhaust. Not cast. Have an exhaust shop weld it up for you.

I ordered a new manifold from pelican parts for 650 + postage. I ordered mine new cause my car has only got 200,000 km on it and I plan I keeping it for a while otherwise I would just get it repaired or second hand.

I have a lovely one for sale if you have the M42 in an E36 318is...
